Ride for a Reason - R4R

The 6th annual Ride for a Reason - R4R - is a fully supported ride on the Ironman 70.3 Augusta® course prior to the September competition. Proceeds from this ride go to supporting the TriAugusta Triathlon Club.

Two routes, 56 miles and a shorter 28 miles, offer rides for both the novice and weekend warrior to the experienced triathlete and cyclist. After your ride, enjoy the included celebration after-party with food and drink at The Boathouse!

All ride registrations include the celebration after-party!

The 28-miles route will be an out and back route starting and ending at The Boathouse. This route only offers one aid station at approximately 18 miles.

The 56-miles route covers the Ironman 70.3 Augusta® bike course also starting and ending at The Boathouse.

Aid stations along the course and on-course support provided by all three local bike shops: Andy Jordan's Bicycle Warehouse, Chain Reaction Cycling & Fitness, and Outspokin Bicycles. 

On and off course support including a Sag wagon will be available.

The $45 registration fee includes full rider support at rest stops, an event T-shirt (if registered by June 30th), a “sag wagon”, and a celebration after-party with food and drink afterwards.

Non-riders can participate in the post ride food and fun for $15. This fee includes the after-party only and is a great way to have friends and family meet and celebrate with you after the ride.

Registration is online only through July 31, 2019.

On-site registration available the morning of the event for $65 and event shirts are not guaranteed with same day registrations.
On-site registration is available the morning of the event until 7:45 AM for $65.

Packet pick-up is the morning of the ride from 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM at The Boathouse.

Both rides start at 8 AM at The Boathouse.

Celebration after-party begins at 11 AM at The Boathouse.

All proceeds support the TriAugusta Triathlon Club.
